My Favorite Food

My Favorite Food is Sandwich because it is delicious when my mom make a sandwich. and also my other favorite is Sushi, Chicken Rice, Vegetables, Fruit, Noodle, French toast and  Pizza. But A sandwich is a food item consisting of one or more types of food, such as vegetables, sliced cheese or meat, placed on or between slices of bread, or more generally any dish wherein two or more pieces of bread serve as a container or wrapper for some other food.

I have a recipes of Sandwich:

Ingredients

  • 6 hard-boiled eggs
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise (I use light mayo on mine, don't care for salad dressing, use more mayo if needed)
  • 1 tablespoon mustard (I use regular yellow mustard)
  • 1 tablespoon relish
  • pepper (optional)
  • lettuce (optional)
  • 6 slices whole wheat bread (any type will do)

Directions

  1. Finely chop boiled eggs.
  2. Mix in mayo 1 tablespoon at a time, so not to add too much.
  3. Mix in mustard, relish and pepper.
  4. Put egg salad mixture on bread (toasted is good as well), also good on rolls for finger foods.
  5. Top sandwich with lettuce.

But My Mom always make a sandwich during my breakfast and This is her recipe sandwich.

    • 6 eggs
    • water for boiling
    • 1 cup mayonnaise
    • salt and pepper to taste
    • 1 pack loaf of bread

    Directions

  • In a medium-sized sauce pan, place the eggs and water. Make sure the eggs are submerged in the water. Bring it to a boil. Cook the eggs until it's hard, about 15 minutes after the water starts to boil.
  • Turn off the heat. Using a perforated ladle, remove the eggs from the water carefully. Immediately place the eggs in cold water (preferably iced). This will not only allow the eggs to cool down faster, it will also shock the eggs which makes it much easier to peel off the shells.
  • After peeling, finely chop the eggs or use an egg slicer if you have one. Place in a bowl. Add mayonnaise, salt, and pepper. Mix properly.
  • Spread the mixture on a slice of bread.

While you might think of sandwiches as just for lunch, they are great for dinner too. Sandwiches are endlessly versatile—you can pile lots of delicious, healthy toppings on whole-grain bread with a delicious tangy sauce for added zip. Imagine biting into a juicy steak sandwich topped with grilled bell peppers and garlicky mayonnaise. And sandwich is very delicious and so I can go to school and buy a sandwich. and I can make a sandwich all the time.
